Malware is the generic term applied to software that invades your computer and does undesirable things. “Bad software” in other words.
And we’re not just talking about buggy software here, we’re talking about software that’s designed to do these bad things, and to spread itself to other programs and computers.
I have begun creating a site that tells the ongoing story of how malware spreads using social engineering techniques. The site is based on a longer article I began writing some months ago. I’ve invited some guest to help me research and write these articles. This’ll be an ongoing work, expanding as conditions change.
